Introduction

Let’s start with some serious numbers about the industry EduMedu is going to revolutionize.
E-Learning Market
The global e-learning market is projected to be worth $1 Trillion in 2026. It reached the size of $500 billion by the end of 2021 and showed steady growth in the last 10 years. Here’s a visual representation of global e-learning shared by continents:

The corporate e-learning market could see a $100 billion increase between 2022 and 2025. One of the biggest advantages of this type of education is that it takes 40% to 60% less time to complete a program or course than traditional learning. Businesses are functioning in a fast-changing environment - in fact, the fastest-changing environment ever - so it's vital for corporations and companies to be quick with their educational activities.
COVID-19 provided a boost for corporate e-learning and made it “comfortable” for employees who were reluctant to learn from home before. With the growing demand, the programs and platforms for e-learning are going through constant updates, evolving quickly.
The pandemic also stimulated quicker development and adoption of the newest technologies, like the blockchain. It was only a matter of time for the fusion between the two growing fields.
Why EduMedu?
We followed the developments of both education technology and blockchain/cryptocurrency - and anticipated the inevitable: their fusion. That’s how EduMedu appeared. But we went further than creating “just another groundbreaking platform.” We came up with the new concept altogether here: Study + Learn + Earn.
Blockchain offers unlimited opportunities for studying, learning, and earning. And with an introduction of the metaverse concept e-learning is on the verge of an unseen evolution.
As the new technology spreads - and develops, non-stop - a new set of skills is already required from employees. Most corporate e-learning offerings can’t satisfy the growing demand. That’s why we created EduMedu.
Cryptocurrency philosophy is at the core of the ecosystem, which is interactive from this point of view. The curriculum courses of each platform will be divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Having free access to these courses a certain amount of EduMedu native tokens (EDUM) will be required - users can either hold or stake them.
After granting free access, users will not only learn but earn more coins after successfully passing the quizzes. Those who completed all the courses will be subject to the final exam. Upon successful passing of this exam, users will be awarded the grand prize and reputable certificates. This is how the gamification mechanism will work within the EduMedu ecosystem.
Moreover, users will be able to sell their coins on crypto exchanges and get their money back whenever they want. We aim to create an attractive and efficient ecosystem for investors holding EDUM tokens. They will have the opportunity to invest in future edtech companies while they’re at the early stage. The staking and reward mechanism will allow the creation of a passive income. We also plan to collaborate with other education platforms via our EduMedu Launchpad; our investors will have privileges like getting access to offers from those educational platforms.
All of the above means that EduMedu is becoming a crucial part of education 3.0 - the new level of e-learning based on the transition to Web 3.0.
Impact on Market
Web3 is the next evolution of the Internet, which has decentralization, transparency, and greater user utility at its core.
Decentralization in this respect means that information could be stored in different locations at the same time. This fact alone is disruptive because it allows to strip Google, Meta, Amazon and other giants to strip off of their control over massive databases. Hence, users will get more control over information. Furthermore, since information will be based on open source software, users will retain ownership over their data.
Web3 applications will run on blockchains (decentralized P2P networks) making this new Internet trustless and permissionless.
Connectivity and interoperability are also vital features of Web 3.0, as are AR and machine learning.
The evolution of the Web and transition to Web3 is going to be massive, hence all changes related to this process will be very significant too. E-learning, already becoming an integral part of the online experience, will evolve inevitably. Here is a quick overview of the current (Web2) state of corporate e-learning and what the nearest future (Web3) holds:
